Executive Summary - Contains the documentation, PC Host, and upgrade files for In-Sight 1700 1701 patch release 2.71 PR1. This is not a general release. Users who don't require the features below do not need to upgrade their system. New Features and Changes: The default behavior of Telnet sessions has been updated to prevent half open sessions from using all three available sessions. If an Admin or Operator Level Telnet session is open, then an Admin or Operator Level browser interface session is opened, the browser interface Access is no longer Locked. If an Admin or Operator Level Telnet session is open, then an Admin or Operator Level browser interface session is refreshed or the user clicks on System from the Option tab or FTP from the File tab, the browser interface Access is no longer Locked. The Get Connections Native Mode command now returns an additional hexadecimal representation to indicate if a user is logged on using a Java applet connection. The Java applet hexadecimal value is 0x80. Previously, the Get Connections command only returned each user's FTP Read/Write permissions and Access Level. (CR# 37805) The Time To Live (TTL) field within the Internet Protocol portion of a multicast packet (as used by EtherNet/IP) is now set to 1. (CR# 37247) The Native Mode command, ReadConfig, now returns the correct XML output. (CR# 37179) The Native Mode command, GetConfigResult, now returns the correct XML output. (CR# 36970) / /
