OverviewWith the LabVIEW 2014 SP1 FPGA Module Xilinx Compilation Tools for Linux DVD, one installation gives you access to Xilinx Compilation Tools for Vivado 2013.4 and ISE 14.7, which are supported by the LabVIEW FPGA Module. Install these compilation tools if you want to compile your FPGA VIs on a Linux computer.
System RequirementsThe LabVIEW FPGA Module Xilinx Compilation Tools for Linux have the following requirements:
Note: National Instruments recommends a 64-bit OS for the computer on which you install the Xilinx Compilation Tools.
Supported HardwareThe following sections contain the NI hardware supported by the FPGA Module Xilinx Compilation Tools on Linux. Refer to the support document at ni.com for more information about the NI hardware supported by each Xilinx compilation tool.
Xilinx Compilation Tools for Vivado 2013.4Use the Xilinx compilation tools for Vivado 2013.4 to compile FPGA VIs for the following NI-RIO devices:

Xilinx Compilation Tools for ISE 14.7Use the Xilinx compilation tools for ISE 14.7 to compile FPGA VIs for the following NI-RIO devices:

NI PCIe-784xR, NI PCIe-785xR
NI PXIe-796xR, NI PXIe-564xR
NI cRIO-907x, NI cRIO-908x, NI cRIO-911x

Installation InstructionsComplete the following steps to install the FPGA Module Xilinx Compilation Tools for Linux:
Log into the system as root.
Insert the LabVIEW FPGA Module Xilinx Compilation Tools for Linux installation media. Use mount /mnt/cdrom to mount the media. On some Linux systems, the media mounts automatically.
To change the current directory to the mounted media, enter cd /mnt/cdrom/CWXILINX14 or cd /mnt/cdrom/CWVIVADO2013.
To run the installation script, enter sh ./INSTALL.
